Post Election Tarot Spread

So I woke up disappointed this morning. But, before I assigned anymore feelings to the 2016 U.S. Presidential election I decided to consult with the Spirits to see how I really should be feeling about things. Based on the spread things aren't as "bad" as they appear.

The Reversed Child of Fire represents us as a nation. We have behaved like little children this election season. We have played with fire and in turn set the nation, and possibly the world, on fire and turned things completely on their head. But when you look at the state that they country is currently in, is this really a "bad" thing? Maybe we needed to be set on fire and turned on our heads!

The Empress reversed is showing a time of financial hardship. Her vase it upside down, emptying out all of the energy that she has stored. Remember that money is nothing but energy. But look at where the spilled energy is going, over her upper chakras. The financial hardships that we are about to endure because of the election are actually going to energize us to love more (Heart Chakra), be more vocal about our needs/wants/desires (Throat Chakra), tap into our vision and intuition (Third Eye Chakra), and most importantly to become a more conscious people (Crown Chakra).

The Reversed 10 of Wind is saying that things aren't as they appear or as we perceive them to be. We have put on all of this protection for a major storm that's really tiny in the grand scheme of things. We have turned ourselves on our head and cast a shadow over our lives about the results of the election (the storm cloud in the picture), but look at the bright sky and the sunshine that's in the background. The election, the perceived repercussions, and everything related to it is an illusion. Don't trust what you're seeing right now. Everything is indeed ok.

The Maiden of Fire really shows the real outcome of this election. She is sitting in this fire that the Child has created, and she is at peace in this fire. But not only is she at peace, she is using this fire to ground her and to energize her sacral and heart chakras. Her third eye chakra is illuminated causing her body to be illuminated. The Divine Feminine in us will be energized by the fire this election has created. The kundalini energy stored in our sacral chakra is going to be released into our heart chakra where we will send it out to the world in the most loving way. There will be a rise of the Divine Feminine in this country, and She is going to use her vision and intuition to illuminate and change the country.
