Weekly Tarot Reading: January 22-28, 2017

Good Afternoon Love Bugs,

So I decided to keep my 7 card format, but this week I wanted to pull from my Mythical Goddess Deck. This week's reading in interesting, in that ALL 7 cards flew out at me as I was shuffling the cards. The beginning of the week will be about clearing things up and getting a better understanding of the information being presented to us at this time, but in the middle of the week there will be a shift, and the end of the week will be all about action.

For today's card I got the Reversed Maiden of Fire. I find this interesting coming the day after the Women's March that occurred yesterday. But, this is very indicative of what is going on right now. This card speaks of miscommunication and misunderstandings. This Maiden is asking us to be very careful in how we communicate today on a personal level. Make sure that it is in alignment with the highest good of all parties, and be understanding and forgiving if things do not come across as they should. This is both for the receiver and giver. On a grand scale, know that things are not as they seem right now. We are purposely being given misinformation. This Maiden is also asking us to ensure that we double and triple check the information that we are receiving to ensure its validity before accepting it as true.

The Child of Wind on Monday follows up the message given to us on Sunday reminding us to tap into our inner consciousness. This Child is flying freely through this sky with both her light flying over her right shoulder and her shadow flying over her left, keeping her in balance on the dragonfly. She is in tune with her higher consciousness and released control to it, and is allowing it to guide her. This will be important for this week. In order to know the truth and to know if what you're being told is true or not you are going to HAVE to be in sync with your higher self. If your light and shadow are out of balance then this day will be the day to work on it.

The Reversed 5 of Earth on Tuesday reinforces the message on Sunday to not trust everything that you are being told. Tuesday will be another day that information will come across to us to be the truth but know that it is an attempt to manipulate you. Whether this be on a personal level or a grand scale. Question what you are being told on this day. Use your higher consciousness to guide you. It will let you know if something is off. If it feels wrong, the trust that its wrong. But, trust ONLY your intuition. It is your guide at this time.

The 6 of Wind comes on Wednesday inform us of a shift that's going to occur around midweek. This will be a welcomed change as the Winds are going to come to clear some things up for us. Any miscommunications from Sunday and manipulations from Tuesday will be revealed to us. We will be able to see clearly what has really been going on behind a smoke screen. We are being asked to take this information and then set our intentions for the New moon that will be occurring on Friday. This is a great day to start the preparation for the New Moon. The effects of a moon's power can be felt 2 days before and 2 days after. So, this is a perfect time to prepare, as the new moon's energy will be a guiding you on how to set your intentions.

The 7 of Fire on Thursday speaks of strength and courage. Look for something to happen towards the end of the week that will require these things. It may be the courage to finally set into motion something you've wanted to manifest for a while. It may be that, like in the card, you will finally have the courage to tame a beast in your life. Whatever it is, you will have the strength and courage to tackle it. It will almost seem effortless. Your intuition will guide you, and your higher self will take control of the situation. That which has been standing in your way will bow down to you.

The Maiden of Seas coming to us on the day of the New Moon in Aquarius is apropos, as Aquarius is the water carrier. Expect Friday to be filled with emotions, good emotions. Also, expect Friday to be a day that your are very in tune with your spirit guides and ancestors. The veil will be pretty thin with the New Moon in Aquarius. Again, with this new moon the intentions that you set maybe things that you finally have the courage to manifest. Look for this Aquarian moon to light a passion in you to simply do what needs to be done. No more thinking or contemplating about it, do it, create it, be it.

The Death card coming at the end of the week sums up the week perfectly. After the midweek shift, by the end of the week the courage that you found on Thursday will help you to put an end to stagnation in your life. I keep getting the message that there's something that you've been afraid to do, say, create, and the Death card is coming to put an end to that shit. The energy of the New Moon will still be heavily present on Saturday so if you didn't do it on Friday, Saturday will be a day that you will feel it heavily on your spirit to move, do, create, be! Kali is coming to light a fire under your ass. She is coming to give you the motivation and courage that you need at this time. Kali will be giving a not so gentle push in the direction that you need to be going in. It will be easier if you don't resist it. Ashe!
